*solved* "Last copy of the gene" warning in RAoG

    I figured it out! Someone else put mushroom on the foundatios, and then sold to me. So the license did not transfer. Duh! So I sold, rather than gifted, and the person who edited the mare gifted her.

    I have multiple foundations with Mushroom, including my original horse, to which I added mushroom myself (via GMTs at the first sale where that option was offered). When I try to give a fresh create with a copy of mushroom (via GMTs), I get the message that it's my last copy of the license. Is that correct somehow?

    Yes, that message is ALWAYS correct. What might not be correct is your license count.

    Have you already gifted mushroom foundation horses in the exchange? Looks like the copy you got today is already gone.

    I got caught on this with mu/mu on a foundation I was gifting. Each copy is a license, so I needed three (one for me and two for them) to gift the horse.

    I ended up using an elf.

    Yup, it is always an option to just send it out side of the exchange and that solves the problem. But it would be good to figure out where the issue popped up.

    Sorry I didn't see your question. I never received another copy of mushroom. The person who added mushroom (via GMTs) got the license,then they sold me the horse, rather than gifted it. So when I went to gift it, it tried to take my copy of mushroom. So I sold it back to the person who added the gene, and they sent to the correct person :D
