Sending out straws with expirations
-
Putting feelers out to see if this is just normal, or possibly a bug in the breeding lab.
When sending out straws with different expiration dates (2 years and Never in this case) I end up having to send out the ones with no expiration date first, then the ones with an expiration. If I do vice-versa, ones I’ve sent out first with an expiration date will come up with no expiration for every straw I send out as “no expiration” to a different player. Make sense? It ends up getting all flip-flopped.
On top of that, if I have a mix of expiration dates outgoing, I then can’t send any more out later in the day with an expiration date until the ones with no expiration get picked up.
Am I missing something? This is not the first time this season I’ve run into it. Does anyone have a good work-around? -
I've had this happen to me too. Even when sending out straws that previously had no expiration, and I have no other straws with expirations, it changes the first one to the set amount of years, and then the next few are set to never, even though it's still on the same expiration. Even when using straws, if I have different expirations for the same horse the straws came from, it will use the ones with no expirations first.DarkPhoenix #15470 (she/her) ~ Premium Upgrade

It is based on the ID number of the straw and what order they are displayed in. You either need to set the expiration when send them (not before) or select the ones with the expiration you want from the drop-down list every time. The straws swap their orders around and HTML is not smart enough to understand that.Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )
