Exceptional Producer - inconsistent?

    If an XPro mare is inconsistent, will her foals have a higher chance of being inconsistent? I know that a low PT will not pass to the foals, but not sure if inconsistency passes on in this case... Thanks in advance!

    My understanding was that consistency is inheritable like breeding ability. Inconsistent horses are more likely to have inconsistent babies. I suspect there is probably a hidden number and scale behind consistency, just like breeding ability.
