I was wondering what $1 equals to Hbs? I’m thinking about getting the Mushroom License and pay someone back in Hbs, the Mushroom License is $7.50 currently (I believe if I read right) once I get enough Hbs I was going to see if someone would use my ID (and ID of a horse to add the gene too) to get me the license (since it’s a little complicated on my end), they would obviously put up a payment pony where I’ll send the Hbs with. Thanks for letting me know! I’m already saving Hbs up, one final question also, can you buy the license with IVs? Okay I think that’s all! :) Thanks again!

Hey, the mushroom license has been on sale for IVs, but it's a rare thing. If you decide to pay someone, it's usually about $1 to 125,000 hbs. You post the horse you want edited, and they add the gene, OR if you want the license only just post your ID!

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but it looks like putting mushroom on a horse costs $10. The cost of getting the license only is $7.50.

You would also have to wait until mushroom is available to be able to add it to a horse.

Okay Thanks you two! I’ll definitely be getting it soon once I get enough Hbs! Oops, another question, do you have to keep paying for the license(s) or is it a one time payment and you just have it forever? Thanks otherwise! :)

Once you have the license, it is a one time payment. If you put a gene on a foundation horse, and then give it away (like during a seasonal gift exchange), you can give away your only copy of the license, but the game warns you before you do so.

"If you put a gene on a foundation horse," every time you put a licensed gene on a horse you get another copy of the license. Just want to make that clear. :)

Okay I have yet another question this time regarding horses, well I believe so. So what actually makes a horse lined? My account is still less than a year old and I’m always blanking when people start talking about it. Thanks! :D

Lined as in not foundation horses. Herd Helper creates are always foundations, while their descendants are “lined,” as you can trace the generations down the line back to the original parents. :)
