First round you suggested breeds you might like to see added next. Then you voted on that list to filter down the possible options. In this last round, we will be deciding the order for the rest of the year. Keep in mind the Arabian and the Infernal Halloween horses are already in the works. Only two or at most 3 of these will make the cut.

A few notes. I dropped the Lusitano. There is clear and steady preference for the Andalusian from the membership and they are close enough in appearance that it does not make sense to add both at this time. I also labeled each breed with what bone weight they would fall into. Also, this is planning for the rest of 2023, so don't expect these to all show up in a hurry.

Please don't vote for certain breeds because someone asked you. Vote for the one you would rather purchase for your account. Please don't try and skew the results by voting on more accounts than you plan to buy the BCs for. Thanks all. This has been so helpful.

I would prefer you did not vote in that case as it does not help us with planning and may mess up the order for players who will be buying them.

10 hours and several thousand votes later, the rankings have not moved at all which is a great sign that this is a very accurate poll. :)

Looks like the first two are set at this point. I want to see what ends up in third but it is not a huge rush as it is not super high odds we will get to it. So Arabian, Infernal (Halloween), Andalusian, and Vanner look like our lineup for 2023 with the possibility of one more at the end of the year.

Okay I am done voting here, I plan on buying BC for all my accounts, I really love this game so I work all my servers, this account is my premium account, the other two are my basic accounts. :) I have a BC on each of my accounts, it is good to be retired and able to enjoy all my pixel ponies. I had to work one a week while working and taking care of my family. Yes I am a pony hoarder lol

To the Romani people I have met in the US and in Bulgaria "gypsy" is considered a vulgar slur that they really don't like being called. The politics around the word is far from black and white so it is not as simple as saying "If you use gypsy it's bad." Just like some members of the gay community chose to use words like "fag." It's up to people of those communities and cultures to decide how they want to engage with words that have been historically used to dehumanize them. It's important to me that this game is a safe and respectful place and right now the most respectful thing I can do for Romani people is not use the word at all.

I am open to us calling them something other than "Vanner" in the game but that is the most widely known term for them.

Oh, no, I was being absolutely serious. I think just Vanner is great. It’s the first time I’ve seen the term and I appreciate it, for all the reasons you mentioned above.

Vanner or any other name is fine with me, I think some places use Irish Cob. I am one of the folks that words don't bother me but I grew up with sticks and stones may break my bones but words can't ever hurt me. So what ever you feel is a good name for the Vanner is fine. People had thicker skins back when I was growing up. Lol
