Backwards Breeders talk
-
I was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice to trying to get the PT scores down for Backwards breeding? I decided I wanted to try something a little different on Mesa and this seems like a fun goal. So far I'm papering and trying to use mostly failed foundations to see what kind of babies they make ^_^ I also started a buddy chat if anyone has horrible studs they want to post or other unaltered failed inspection horses they want to sell.

Basically I got super (un)lucky with my foundation stallion, he's truly awful. This is his 4th season, and his first tested "worse than" son's first season.
Starting out I bred any mare I could get with PT lower than 3 and focused on keeping the lowest PT scores intact. Now I'm weeding out anything higher than 1.0, testing offspring against sire/dam and only keep "worse than" or "about as good as" intact. Occasionally test against other offspring too.
I have a few ponies to post but the option isn't available in the chat -
alrighty, lemme go have a look at the chat, I thought I put it all to public :D
