    I was looking to GMT onyx onto a create horse but I'm not seeing it as an option inside of the gene mod. Is it something I have to buy double copies of to put onto a horse even if I already purchased the breeder license?

    I believe you have to purchase the gene each time you want to add it onto foundation horses.

    If you are GMTing a lined horse who missed out on Onyx from mom or dad you should be able to do that without any additional purchases.

    I think it helps keep the genes more rare and valuable. The license is still nice to have to be able to breed to horses owned by other players that carry the gene.
