Let me know what you think about this saddlebred line art.

ETA: Thanks to your feedback we have updated the image to be of a more extreme saddlebred type. Let me know what you think! (note the muscle lines are to help us with shaping and not final)

I think of saddlebreds as having longer backs but i'm not an expert

Some of them are very long, but we are trying to go with a bit more of an old-school foundation vibe. We are open to feedback on that though.

Based on a quick Google image search, I'd say it looks pretty accurate. Are you changing the line art on some of the horses?

Ammit, I would reduce the size of the throatlatch a little bit. Just a thought. What a nice addition to the game for sure!

Agreed, I would refine the throatlatch just a tad bit and I would also make the eyes just slightly bigger. They are quite expressive horses that show a lot of emotion in their face and I think that would tie it in well.

I'm more of a stock horse person, but I definitely agree about the throatlatch. It would look right at home on a Quarter Horse, but Saddlebreds have a more refined look to them.

For some reason his head looks like it’s tipped slightly away from you instead of a straight profile.

I also think his hind legs look a little thick and clunky from his hocks down to his fetlocks compared to his front legs.

Overall I like his stance and he definitely has a different look to differentiate him from the other body types we have.

I adore it! The only thing I would change is that the head seems like it’s angled away from the viewer and not in profile, but it’s possible I’d view it differently when colored in.

I wish it had eyes. I know it’s an outline but it has a mouth and a nose.

Well of course it will have eyes! We aren't going to push out an eyeless horse. :P

Eyes are dynamically generated by the game and not part of the line art, unlike the mouth and nose. :)

Oh I loved it before, now I’m not so sure. Just my opinion of course, but I liked it before the changes. Though I think the straighter head is a great improvement.

This one is a saddlebred so needed to look very saddlebred, there will be other future options if you want more of a morgan or walker look. :)
