Hello! I'm new to HAJ, but I'm already falling in love! It's so diverse yet beginner friendly. And there's so much to do, as well. I've never really enjoyed horse breeding games as there was never enough equine interaction or personalization to keep me entertained, but HAJ has those aspects. So glad I found this game

Hello, I am new to HAJ. I have seen it pop up a lot so I wanted to check it out. I have liked horses for a long time and been lucky enough to rid and learn about them for the past years. Hello! I've got a question about tack on horses. What allows some horses to have certain tack while others can't? For example, I've seen western tack and dressage tack, but I don't have access to that. Is it an upgrade?

@Shellonabeach, the best tip is to build up a good herd of show horses. That's where your money comes from, in the long run.

@KarimuAoi, there are free basic tack items, but for the fancier stuff you need to buy the tack pack. Prices range from 1 IV to over 100 IVs. If you go to the Upgrades with HBs link you can buy IVs. Once you have your IVs you can click the "go shopping with IVs" button and scroll down towards the bottom to see what's available

hiya! im pandemonium. i like oreos, studying genetics, reading and horses! seeing hunt and jump combining real genetics and horses i practically had to join. dressage is my preferred discipline. ace will be my breeding name because i strive to breed the best (virtual) horses.

Ace Oranges And Lemons (had to slide in that horse link for 50k lol)

Sorry to nag, but I have another question! When I went to breed one of my horses today, it said that I am not eligible to breed right now because it is the first of the month, but the date is the 28th? Could this be a bug or something?

@Annaeqqq - I'm not sure exactly where you're seeing the first of the month message but breeding closes on the 28th of each month until the first week of the next month. The exact day it opens depends on if you're upgraded or not. If you go to "member home," it should tell you at the top when you can start breeding again. I hope this helps! I use this time in between to organize my horses and plan out my breeding pairs for the next season.

@misskitty Oh I get it now! Thank you for the advice! The message that it gave me when I tried to breed my horses said it was the first of the month and I couldn’t breed so that’s why I was so confused
