Cloning questions
-
Why does 1947610 cost 16 IV to clone but 1947609 is only 1 IV?

“How do you know I’m mad?” said Alice.

I've never used the cloning lab, but my understanding is that the cost is tied to which color genes your horse has, and the cost of those same genes if you wanted to add them via the GMT lab.
The first mare has Varnish Regulator 2 (H) which costs 5 tokens in the lab.
The second mare doesn't have any special genes that would be expensive in the lab.
I am hoping that someone who knows for sure will pitch in for you, but that would be my semi-educated guess.Ramshorn Ranch

It also gets more expensive each time you clone a horse. It took me several tries to get my -0.3 colt, and now instead of 1 IV its 6 or 7 if I want to try again with the same stud.

I have never cloned either horse, so it's not the multiplying effect from that. It must be the Varnish regulator, I didn't realize it was a "more expensive" gene.“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked.

Yup it is because of the halo gene on the first horse.Sorry not currently taking any request for egg/straw/horse sales. Everything I have for sale is already listed.
