:O oh wow I had no idea pastured mares could have twins! I thought only lab breeding could produce twins that is cool!!
I’m excited to hear an answer on this.TheBlueMoors ID 78

hmm thanks Ammit, i didnt realize it was a bug.
but i thought it was weird.
because i put 100 mares in my primary pasture with 2 stallions.
the report said 100 foals, but i received 99, but i was like hmm maybe one died... then i saw at the top that i had 15 unbred mares... but the stallions had bred 100 mares.
and then i looked over to see that some had 2 foals. so im like twins?
now i look at those mares there's about 14 or 15 in that pasture that have 2 foals this year.
also the foals photos are not auto generating. i bred these yesterday and the photos are still on the open my page graphic. -
Would you mind linking to all your mares with double foals?
Yes photos are autogenerating. You can always check the online tab to see how long the queue is.
If you want fast horses you should always manually breed your pastures instead of waiting for them to auto-breed. Auto-breeding is the slowest possible image generation and can take a few days to show up. It was created for inactive members.Need to contact me? Read this first.

I have has a busy month with craft fairs, so haven't been able to be on as much as i have been in the previous months.
this pasture i did breed myself, it didn't auto-breed. i had some smaller pastures that did auto breed.
any how, these are the mares that bred 2x. looks like 14 of them.

All the foals have different sires so there must be an issue with double assigning mares.Need to contact me? Read this first.

I had this happen a few seasons back (February) on Bluegrass. I don't think we ever figured out what the culprit was, but we had thoughts it may have been linked to using 2 stallions instead of 3 in a full pasture? (100 acre primary pasture)

This mare was one of the affected. Her only foals are the ones from the incident. Different sires as well.

"but we had thoughts it may have been linked to using 2 stallions instead of 3 in a full pasture?"
I don't have any reason to think it is related to that.
Like I said then, It was a super rare fluke and we just had to wait for it to show up again. It took months. Still no idea why it happened but I put a failsafe in the breeding script to prevent it from happening again.Need to contact me? Read this first.
