    I got the max size of 500px by 150px but I can’t seem to get it lower than 15kbs for file size… the image I have is 126kbs… What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do :-(

    What program are you using? They all have different ways to do it. There are some website you can do it online with too.

    @ammit, how would I do that?

    @vorpalalice, I got the px size by going onto ibis paint x and resizing it there but I can’t change the file size with it

    @ammit Can I ask why there is a 15kb limit for banners, but a 2mb for profile pictures? I assume it has to do with server load. It just seems like it would make more sense the other way around because profile pictures are physically smaller and detail is less visible/important.

    I did not set the forum limit. The banner limit was set 10+ years ago when file size was a really big deal.

    Ah, yeah that makes a lot of sense. 10 yrs ago 15kb was pretty big.
