Why can't i bid in auctions?

    Every auction i click on says "this auction is not accepting bids" or something to that effect. Is there a particular reason for that? Just that the auctions are closed or is it something about me and my account? Or is there an issue with it?

    The auction only takes bids on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
