GMT is claiming parent is chimera when it isn’t
-
I am trying to GMT frame off of a horse. Both parents are chimeras. The horse is not. The frame comes from the sire and is only on one strand. When I select the frame to remove it, the game asks me which strand I want to remove the O from, as if the horse I’m trying to modify is a chimera. (it isn’t.) I’m not sure which of the two strands to pick, or if I should pick at all. Advice, please? I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Thank you.

It is asking you which parent set of DNA you want to edit from because the parent is chimeric.Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

Yes, but the parent only has frame on one strand and it gives me the option to remove O from either strand. One strand doesn’t have O at all. Should I just remove it from the strand I know it is on and ignore the weirdness about the other strand (which doesn’t have frame but the game is offering to let me remove frame from.)

Yes, it has to show the option your horse has twice, once for each strand the parent has. I promise that is how it is supposed to look. :)Need to contact me? Read this first.

I promise I am not trying to be obtuse.
I removed the frame from the second strand. Then I bred and got two lethal whites and I don’t know why.
Here is one set of parents.

It looks like you got the gene mods portion figured out! Lethal white can occur from other combinations besides double frame. Check out the white risks table in the FAQ!

In your case it's the SB2 from Underworld combined with the the W2 from Star Briefing that is likely the issue. Just rotten luck that it happened on both foals you bred though. -
Thank you. I didn’t realize Sabino was on that chart and thus blamed the supposedly removed (actually removed) frame. I appreciate the clarity cause I could not figure out what I was doing wrong.
