How do I do it?

Go to your horse's page and above the horse's picture, click on where it says control panel.

You will see option to change name, edit notes etc etc. Scroll down to the bottom. There will be a subheading called "test this horse" There will be several boxes. Click the one that says Genetic Testing (it is should be the 1st box under the subheading). That will tell you the genome of the horse :)

@cinitha You will have to buy it from the "Buy Rare Genes" section next time it become available for purchase. :)

You will need to wait for it to come back up in the Random Gene Sales. (1st and 15th of the month) Under Upgrade, then Buy Rare Genes.

It usually costs $30(real money). You can trade off maybe with someone for HBs. :D

Right now no one can, as the gene isn’t available to buy. They rotate which are available.

@cinitha you will still have wait to until it comes back around in the Random Gene Sale. The exchange rate of hbs to dollars is usually between 100,000-125,000 hbs per dollar.

So a copy of DFP2 would be roughly 3,000,000 hbs if you found someone to buy it for you! :)

@cinitha If it doesn’t come up again in October or November, it will very likely come up in December; all the genes rotate through the RGS then so it’s a great time to put together horses. :)

@bluemesa do we also do candy cane horses in December? Sounds like a good month.

@summermonarch candy cane horses are usually available year-round (except for this month when they have a candy corn coat instead), just the odds of creating one are not super high. If my memory serves me correctly, I think the probability of creating one does go up for a little while in December.

And yes! December is a very fun month to play :)
