Old Ponies

So I lost quite a few this season. Surprisingly one of my oldest is still going strong. He's 30 years and is just continuing to live on. However I lost my favorite and most precious boy this season.
Alberts Soul
The story behind him was I had a rabbit that was amazing and my best friend. I made this horse and decided to name it Albert's Soul cause I needed a name. Shortly after I made this horse my rabbit Albert passed away in my arms at 3am May 29th 2021. The bond I shared with him was do strong and so precious. He was a light in the darkness I was dealing with at the time. With the pandemic and being isolated cause I was taking care of my grandparents, and just dealing with all the life things, like my mental health and previous traumas. Albert really helped. He was the reason I got out of bed everyday and I shared my room and life with him. So on that fateful day, when I lost him, I was heartbroken. It was the same grief I would feel if I would have lost my grandparents. So I paid tribute to him with this horse. And so he has been dear to me. I'll probably keep all of this last breeding season's offspring, as they are his last. This horse and Albert will forever be with me. And I pay my respects and goodbyes.
Old Antique
She also passed.
There was another that passed, but I dont seem to have any of her children so that I can get her picture. Many of my horses have been getting up there in age, but this is the first post that I've done for my own horses. Albert's Soul being the main one I want to remember. -
Ah your bunny :( I have 3 bunnies and a lot of horses named after them. They're amazing.

Animals are members of our family, and we truly love them with all of our hearts and souls. They love us back too. Such a truly awesome story. Thank you so much for sharing it with us, and may it help with your continued healing. Bless you.Forest Server - Chapel Hill Farm. ID# 54714 (Basic account)

@pinkie3 yes. They are so precious. I truly learned a lot with Albert. Like patience being an example. He definitely gave me joy and laughter. The trust I built with him was incredible. He let me do silly things like gently flatten his ears for a photo. Or put sunglasses on him for another photo. He loved his hay, veggies and pellets alike. Every morning I would have cuddle time with him before I would feed him his pellets. He was a smart boy and knew how to open the pen gate. So if I didn't close it properly, he would open the gate and just roam around my room freely. Even when he was sick, I would care for him and keep him on my bed. And even until his dying breath, he was still fighting because he knew I needed him. I knew he loved me and I truly hoped he knew I loved him.
@ChapelHillFarm Thank you for your words. Now all I have of my Albert are the memories I made with him. And I know one day I will see him again. -
Ah those stories are adorable <3 He sounds like he truly was a wonderful bunny.
