Is varnishing dominant or recessive?
-
Quick question... does a horse only need one copy of Vrn to varnish?

It's dominate. A het Varnish well Varnish slower than a hom varnishHJ1 - Bambi207

So sort of like the creme gene then? One copy turns a chestnut into a palomino, two turns it cremello. In both, one copy has an effect, two makes the effect stronger.

It's part of the leopard complex and can not be separated from it. It has promoters but if you have LP you have varnish.Need to contact me? Read this first.
