Help with first horse
-
Hi! I hope this posts in the correct place. I am completely new to this game and I have a question about my first horse.
I got him from a Lapis Lazuli Herd Helper. I think he looks neat, but I'm not sure how he stacks up. He has an Ice gene ( Ice gene 1?). Can someone more experienced than me take a look and give advice on what to do with him? Ive already entered him in two shows. I'd love to know what you think! Thank you for your help!

He's beautiful! The Lapis herd helper doesn't come around very often so if you like it, I would definitely keep him. This herd helper is special for a lot of reasons, but in particular for S+ and the ice gene. Both of these genes usually have to be purchased with either real life money or lots of in game money. Also your guy is extra special because he got two copies of tobiano which doesn't normally occur on this herd helper! :)
He would make an excellent sire for your future herd of pixel ponies. Stallions can be bred up to 50 times in one season so keep that in mind as you create horses. Mares can only be bred once per season so you always want extra mares! Breeding is closed right now (as it does every month) for just a few days while the game prepares for the "rollever" when every horse ages up one year. You can find more info on breeding season here https://mesa.huntandjump.com/breeding_info.php
So for now you can't do anything else with him, but you can focus on creating a beautiful herd of show ponies and learning more about that game. Also be sure to post here for some extra cash! :D

@LadyhawkeStables
Thank you so much, I can't wait to breed him when the season opens again! Thank you also for the extra money! -
That's a really cool horse for your first one! If you like how he looks definitely use him as your main stallion to start off. Breed him with some various different mares that you like and you should get some really pretty foals.
