Breeding guidelines!
-
So for this server I want to have strict guidelines. I'm thinking mares have to be hom sooty and heavier than 3.20 and short. Like 13.whatever? I've never set solid breeding goals so I'm not sure if these are realistic!
-
You might want to work toward those goals rather than starting out with them, unless you're ready to build veeeeeery slowly.
I don't know if 3.20 bone is even in the range that foundation horses can be generated in? OK just checked, you can GMT foundations to 3.25 max, so maybe but it might be pretty hard to find. You may want to start somewhere lower and aim for getting to those standards in the 2nd or 3rd generation.FreyaBean #115 on Mesa *-* GeneverGinger #41674 on Forest -
I tried breeding super heavy Drafts over on Bluegrass when I first started, and you can create 3.1-3.25 horses easily enough.
Foundations can only be 13.2- 16.2, though.
Assuming you're going to be pickier about your stud, though; you may want to just GMT him. If you're not too particular about color, you can probably create a mare herd like that easily enough.Thanked by 1ConfluenceRanch -
Thanks guys!

For my foundations, I only require them to be hom sooty and Red/B or Blue/A papered. I start getting super strict starting in second generation. I am planning on using the same requirements i have on Forest and Bluegrass on this server :)
Breeding requirements
1. Must pass SBA
2. Must paper as follows:
Foundation - B/Red
Second Gen - A/Blue
Third Gen - A/Blue
Fourth Gen - A/Blue (Ideally getting some Star*/Gold*)
Fifth Gen+ - Star*/Gold*
3. Must test Consistent
4. MUST test superior to Sire/Dam
5. AFPT Score for mares (after 3 foals) and stallions (after 10 foals):
- 9.9
- 2G 10.3
- 3G 10.7
- 4G 11.1
- 5G 11.6
- 6G and up 12 or higher
6. 3G+ MUST be Homozygous for specific gene of the line the horse comes from (ex: Mushroom, Chinchilla, etc)Bluegrass Server: HayesStable - 221755

Thank you AshBrookeFarm! This is going to be a c/yellow base line with a bunch of genes! So I was thinking red/b second and third blue/A papered by gen 4 I was thinking! I am playing with size weight/requirements!Thanked by 1Ashbrookefarm
