I'm looking to (very slowly) start a lace/watercolor line. I have two studs I could use - one of which is a Bronze Age that is homozygous pearl. I tried looking on other servers for examples, but there weren't many examples that didn't have other factors like onyx or ice impacting it. Would the lace still be visible? I was planning on putting two strands on whomever I choose.

These are the two I'm debating between. The better brindle breakout was going to eventually become liver, but I have a 1st gen B stud now to use. Opinions on who I should use?

Lol I had the exact same thoughts on both my BBB and my bronze age and didn't end up putting lace on either. I've been searching Bluegrass for examples. These are the closest I found, but one has chocolate and the other has satiin

No it's not my favorite. Even on brindle, it's varies so much on the roll.

I'm going to be adding 1 strand of watercolor too. That might help it show up a bit more. I think the pearl is going to blur it too much, though.

Here's two watercolor pearl lace horses from Bluegrass, you can definitely see the lace better on the second one, but still faint.

Yeah, I think the onyx is making it hard to see in the first one. I think I'm going to use the better brindle though.

As the being behind Bright Blue Morning, I can tell you that he did throw some awesome watercolor/lace foals. The pearl won't show up until the third generation anyhow. And you can always reroll their pic until you get one that you love.

I actually like the look a bit. I may look into just not doing anything with my bronze age and maybe adding some stuff at a later date (or paycheck, lol).

This is my lace pearl stallion on the forest server he's roan though so you can't tell his babies show the lace well
