    Why are we unable to purchase pastures with IV's? It appears as if we have to purchase these with only real money.

    I want to have separate pastures for different or generations. How do others do it without having multiple pastures? Thanks in advance for your expertise. :D

    Because they allow for the exponential expansion of horses in your barn which is very expensive on server resources and unbalances the economy. You are given a free pasture to use, anything past that will have to be purchased with USD to offset the server costs they incur.
