I just had to tell someone.
Once I saw there was a “pasture boost” for mares that multiplies with time… I’ve had a pasture full of mares sitting for a week waiting on season opening…
I realized I had missed some testing on some. So I MOVED all 56 back to my main barn ( I wanted to do whole barn/ select all testing because I’m lazy ) !!!
*Face palm*
As soon as I clicked the button I realized what I did.

What are some funny oopsies you’ve done?

I could be wrong, but I think as long as you are able to get them back in there within 24 hours they will keep their bonuses. :)

BlueMesa is correct! My most recent oopsie was moving mares out of pasture and forgetting to put them back in on the same day...

I thought it was by rollover, rather than 24 hrs!

You don't have to move them to test them, you can do it from the control panel on the individual horse pages.

It is indeed rollover, not 24 hours.

There are two different rollovers;

Nightly - the game sets itself up for the upcoming day. Horses get a day older, pasture bonus resets to reflect the extra day on the breeding bonus, and (most importantly) showing bonuses are paid out. Usually around midnight-ish in Indiana/Eastern Standard Time.

Monthly - When the calendar switches from the last day of the previous month to the first day of the next month, breeding starts up again, horses age up 1 year, some horses pass away, etc.

I've pulled horses and didn't realize I could have put them back to save the pasture days.

I've also bought vouchers and did a refresh on the page, which ended up buying them again! I went from 300K to 25K in about 2 seconds. I'm digging myself out of the broke hole, once again. But, I do have lots of vouchers.

@ChapelHillFarm, I sent you some HBs to soften the blow! We've all made mistakes like that. Most of us learn from them! :) I've been playing since 2008 and last week I thought that one of my stallions had 'lost' his satin gene! Ammit was very patient.

Personally, I've made a habit of NEVER using the refresh button except for a couple of really specific situations.

I just went to do some quick shows on a few mares real quick
while jamming to some music and placed them back in. Realized
it was 5 past 12.. X_X Glad it was only a handful this go round.

I still catch myself at the "are you sure
" prompt when I quickly hit refresh..

I feel your pain! I am currently sitting waiting for all my Gen 2 mares to reach their full pasture bonus again because I moved them last season to show them and forgot to put them back before I went to bed. 8-|

I logged on the other day to a sale notice of a horse I don’t remember putting up for sale… !!!
I am guilty of playing while trying to doze off at night so that’s probably the culprit. :-/
I am always doing something silly lol.

I’m also guilty of playing right before sleeping and after I’ve taken my glasses off lol. My fingers may have slipped a few times. XD
