Hi all, I only JUST discovered the Herd Helper forum UGH. However, despite being pretty diligent about checking it, it seems like every single one I try to use has been used by too many others.

Are people posting HH that have been shared max already?
If not, is there a way I can set up notifications so I get a notice when someone posts on the HH thread?

It seems like all the competitive ones are gone within a few minutes and it's been frustrating.

Depends on the HH. Some have only 1 share (Rank 5 and Special)
The first person to click it gets the only share. Those go fairly quickly.
Others have a couple shares to them but also depend on the type
(ie: Exceptionally Perfect Dark Chestnut)

All about being the quickest at the draw mostly. I don't know for sure if
there is a notification to notify you of certain posts unfortunately.

You can click the star to bookmark a thread and get notified in the forum any time someone posts on it, but honestly with the herd helpers you're probably better off lurking and refreshing the page every few moments, when you have the free time to do it. That's the only way to really ensure you'll be first at it when it comes to the rank specials.

I just clicked on a rank 5 that was 5 hours old and still got a share.

I think they mean the rank specials, those are the ones that will vanish within a few minutes. People get pouncy on them, lol! They want those goodies! :P
