Applying to a brindle.
I know both are Rainbow riot 2. My question is if I buy both for one strand, does it automatically do the same on the other strand? If I remember correctly my first stud, bought TNR and applied to his first strand (for homozygous) and it separated to be heterozygous on each both strands. Maybe I did something wrong then? I just want to clarify what could happen before I start buying genes again and plan. :P

If you buy a gene for a chimera, it will apply to that half of the DNA strand for both sets of genes. So if you put it on one strand, the horse will be het for that gene on both sets. Strand 1 is paternal "inheritance," and strand 2 is maternal "inheritance," not a reference to primary or secondary DNA sets in chimeras. Hope that helps!
