How does one AFPT test a horse?
-
I’ve seen it on others, but I don’t know how to get it on my own
-
If you are talking about the gene, then you have to genetic test the horse concerned to see what genes they carry. It will show up there if they have the gene.HAJ1 White Valley #60847 HAJ3 minimum #175

I believe AFPT (average foal PT) should show up once your horse has 2 foals that are performance tested on the ground. It doesn't always show up in the search page like it should but if you open your horses page and go to "Family" it will show the number of foals and should show the AFPT below it.
-
It should show even if you just have one foal. The foals have to be PT tested
to be included in the average. You also need to open the parents page(s) to make it add in and average any new foals scores.

Sorry - I gave the wrong information. For some reason, I thought you were talking about the new height regulator gene! I obviously wasn't properly awake yesterday. :)HAJ1 White Valley #60847 HAJ3 minimum #175
