Sport Ponies
-
I've decided to focus on Sport Ponies - anyone else? Seems like there's a lack of them in the auctions so far, and in public breeding stock.
Anyway my main question is about the pedigrees. Someone bred to one of my mares, I was so excited! lol However I'm not able to see the resulting foal from my mare's "family page." I really want to see it! Help?
Thanks! -
@morningice be sure to provide a link for the mare you are asking about! You should be able view her foals by going to the family page, but there is a chance that foal didn't pass testing and got auctioned. Or perhaps didn't survive due to lethal white genes

I can see she has been bred this season and no foal is showing. My best guess would be that someone bred to her, the foal failed breeding testing and then got auctioned off. Lined foals that are auctioned off are removed from the game

Bummer. But that makes sense. Thanks again @ladyhawkestables

Mares can only be bred live once per season so if there is one you really like I would not suggest putting them up for public breeding.
The most economical breeding option is to put your mares into a pasture where you can breed them for 500hbs. You can then keep the foal or auction it for 2500hbs which is a quick profit of 2000hbs.
If you leave mares in a pasture they accrue a daily breeding bonus which slowly increases their breeding ability until they max out at 30+ days. This is also the best way to improve your herd quality
