Please Read: About Public Sales

    Hi all!

    I've noticed people saying they put a horse up on public sales for someone and then someone else bought it a couple times now, and I'd like to make a suggestion that might help with that. If you're posting a horse for a specific person, change the horse's name to make it obvious who it's for, as in "For X". Not everyone will respect it but most of us do and it will make it MUCH easier for people like me who check the sales lists regularly to grab anything that will fit into my herd. I don't want to pick up anyone else's pixel ponies accidentally, but I'm checking the sales often and buying anything I like that's not labeled for somebody else if it's up publicly. :\">

    That is against the rules completely. You can not put a horse up for sale and change the name to say "for such and such". If you put a horse on the public sales board it is up for everyone period. If someone else picks it up you can not go bug them about it. That is the risk of using public lists. Please let me know if anyone has bugged you about buying horses on the public lists.

    If a horse is up for a specific person than people need to transfer them in a private chat room. Not a public chat room but a private one.

    Basically the owner of the chat room is responsible for any sales mishaps that happen in a chat room. It's not against the rules to swap them like that in a public chat room it is just a bad idea and I won't rescue your horse for you if you do it where anyone can come in and take them.
