Show off the glow ups!

It is that time of the month when we all lament the loss of some of our beloved ponies and income (down 40k on the other server eeeek) and excitedly open up our foals' pages to age them up as well as rejoice as new blood finally joins the breeding herds!
It took several months of quiet curses, scheming, and crossed fingers but this guy finally came out. He will be joining the Dr Seuss Project as my 2nd generation sire next month- can't wait! Both his sire and dam are boosted A papers so I am hoping he will produce some gold/star papered 3rd generations once I get some more boosted 2G gals aged up and put in the pasture.
2G Mr Brown Can Moo
This guy is outta my beloved mushroom line and he got it allllll. I had to change him to a colt but it's always the perfect ones that require some tweaking. Mushroom is seriously one of my favorite genes- I love the unique shades it gives the liver reds and it is so underrated!! I always struggle with 3rd generation babies missing 1 or more of the essential genes that are part of that line so having a 2G boy guaranteeing at least heterozygous 3G babies will be a huge help, especially because the 2G girls are all heterozygous for their pertinent genes as well.
2G Cremini TFP
ETA: This is my future 3G mushroom sire- he'll be joining the ladies next month! He needs a mushroom name.. Perhaps Lion's Mane? I'm hoping by 4-5th generation, this line will be mostly locked in and I have a true breeding army of liver mushrooms!

Glow up babies and shine bright! What about yours? Any kiddos you are particularly impressed by or am chomping at the bit to get put in the pastures this month??TheBlueMoors ID 78

Congrats on such nice horses!!!! This is seriously the best time of the “year!”
I went ahead and spent an absolute LOAD of resources buying cooled semen from an amazing 4G stud of Pestilent’s and have my very first 4th gen star girls already flushed for mass egg collection!! Most of them went to be bred by Pestilent’s stud, but I do have 10 embryos by my 4th gen stud, Wowza, and can’t wait to see what he throws!!! I’ll have a ton more 4G horses to breed but won’t be for a bit. This will be the first month I’ve produced 5G, so I’m super excited about that!!!
Here’s my pretty boy! I bit the bullet and GMT’d him and my 5 star4G girls as much as I could to produce more homozygous MM/KP horses!

@thebluemoors it's always so fun to read your posts, I love hearing about your project goals and those satin mushrooms are just so gorgeous! (Also yes Lion's Mane would be an awesome name!) :x
@starburstfarms Wowzais gorgeous but super bummer on the 5G embryos, what rotten luck :( do you have any 4Gs left to breed this season?
Here are a few of my favorite glow ups this season! I am absolutely obsessed with this girl. She was my first gold and ironically has a gold hue to her coat too @-)

And these two handsome dudes. My 4G line was super colt heavy last season so they may become pretty little fillies sometime soon!

Lady, Goldilocks is super gorgeous! Unfortunately not this year, next year I’ll have a couple more to breed! Although between the breeding fees and semen cost, that loss was substantial....I may just pasture breed next year, we’ll see!!

@StarburstFarms, that boy is GORGEOUS! KitM on an champagne background is dreamy! I am so sorry none of your embryos passed! THat is so heartbreaking waaaah! I've never enjoyed hand breeding/lab breeding solely because of the dismal passing rates of the foals for such an expensive investment. Pasture breeding with full 30 day bonus has been the way to go for me at least.
@LadyHawkeStables- you are too kind! Liver mushrooms are so underrated I hope they get more popular here! Your stables are the envy of all here.. these guys are so nice and that Goldilocks gal is just stunning. Seriously love KitM on livers and how the white phantom patterns play so beautifully yet subtly with it! Thank you for sharing your lovely babies with us and looking forward to seeing what they produce as they age up!TheBlueMoors ID 78

@TheBlueMoors Thank you so much! Let me tell ya, when I ET’d all my 3 gen mares and only had a 10-15% SBA pass rate I thought that was bad til I dumped a million HBs in breeding fees and close to half a mil in ET fees for not ONE baby!! Too bad too, there were some gorgeous babies in that crop!!! I’ve decided I’m going to mainly pasture breed and buy outside stud horses if needed to cross on my girls! I think you’re right, it’s definitely the way to go!!!
