By the "Exceptional Show Horse" tattoo I would assume this horse was created after you clicked on a link from one of the Newsletters.

Every Newsletter that is sent out includes a link at the bottom to "Claim Your Show Horse". Once you click on the link an event appears here and the new horse you create is an exceptional show horse that is born with 1000 pts. Those points directly correlate with the lifetime payout which is why it's so high.

Also, for new players (with less than 20,000 points total) each horse you create will be born with a show points (anywhere from 0-1000). Once you hit 20,000 all horses will be born with 0 points
