Showing each horse twice a week every week and growing your show herd is the best way. Somewhat of a chicken and egg situation for you if you need more show ponies! If you don't have an upgrade make sure you collect your 'salary' each week. Check out all the things you can get as a new player. All your creates will come with a bonus until you hit a cap (not sure how much that is) so that will help with your daily bonus.

Make sure you do the new member introduction to get your free goodies.

There’s no “get rich quick” scheme here besides buying things with real money. Show your ponies so they increase their daily bonus.

Creating horses has a chance of winning lottery money. Right now, there’s also increased chances of creating a candy pony, that you can sell for money. If you have extra cash after showing for the week, you can create horses and auction them. If you don’t do any testing you won’t lose money, and there’s a chance you’ll win a lottery.

If you've been playing for a while I think you forget how broke you are when you first start!

Just make sure you're auctioning any horses you aren't keeping or selling them if they're a nice rank special or have points. Selling back to the game seems really useful if you have hbs and need stalls, but won't help you much of you need hbs.
