RAM Italian Man is one of my more popular stallions for outside breeding. I've got some good news and some bad news. The bad news: Italian Man will be be retired from stud service at the end of the April breeding season. The good news: I have a SUPERIOR B Papered son of Italian Man who will be taking his place in May. Mr Bowtie has a lot of the same fancy that Italian Man has, so hopefully those of you who love his sire will also be excited to support him when that time comes.

I wanted to give those of you who love Italian Man a chance to make sure you get your straw requests and breedings in this month or next. I just want to mention that gelding him will remove from futurity running, I believe. I'd leave him intact until June :)

Oh! Good point. I think you are right. He will get to keep his bits until the end of July then, as I am hoping he will be able to hit the July board as well. I am still going to stick with not offering him for breeding anymore after May. Since Mr Bowtie is superior, the public would be better served to visit him instead. :)

You are a lifesaver! I would have not gelded another stud earlier this month if I had remembered that, but he was not my best contender anyways.

Thank you! I am pretty excited to finally have a superior colt that is just as fancy as dad. I wish he had been A papered, but we will get there!
